Nexus Co-Sponsors and Presents at 2023 Engineering Education Innovation Days

Engineering Education Innovation Days is a two-day, in-person event focused on community building and instructional topics pertinent to the Michigan Engineering community.
Nexus co-sponsored the first Engineering Education Innovation (EEI) Days event held at North Campus on May 8-9, 2023. This inaugural offering showcased presentations and panels, facility tours, product demonstrations, and a resource fair for engineering faculty and staff to build community and focus on important instructional topics.
Nexus instructional designers Kim Alberts and Joy Walters were part of the planning committee to coordinate the tours and demos portion. They also presented with fellow instructional designer Rachel Whitney on two topics—Quality Matters: Delivering on the Promise of Online Learning as well as Tips and Tricks for Improving Your Online Course.
After the event, Kim shared, “This was a great opportunity to serve faculty in collaboration with CRLT-E and CAEN. It was exciting to share our resources and to learn from others. I left the event feeling inspired and with new ideas! I look forward to continued partnerships and conversations about education innovation at Michigan Engineering.”
