These online modules explore current and emerging technologies and trends, including hybrid and electric vehicles, connected and automated vehicles, and advanced and smart manufacturing. Stay current with modern technology, and prepare yourself and your company for technological leadership.

PROGRAM OVERVIEW

Modules

Complete 1, 2, 3, 4 modules or more based on your interests. Take modules individually à la carte, or to earn a certificate, select a specialization group or any combination of 4 modules.

Self-paced Learning

Each module contains 4-6 hours of online instruction divided into shorter segments making it easier to learn at your own pace.

Timeline

If completing a specialization, all 4 modules must be purchased together and completed in 180 days. For individual modules, you have 60 days to complete.

Certificate

Upon successful completion of 4 modules purchased as a group, you will receive the U-M Certificate in Current and Emerging Technologies. Successful completion requires you get an 80% passing grade on all 4 of the module tests.

Specialization Certificate

Select 4 modules from one concentration to deepen your knowledge in a specific subject area. Your certificate will note the specialization you completed.
