Detroit Metropolitan Airport (DTW) is located approximately 30 minutes from Ann Arbor.
U-M reserves the right to amend its programs as necessary due to insufficient enrollment or unforeseen events. In the event of a program cancellation, participants will be notified via email or phone and will be given the option for a full refund or to transfer their registration to another course. U-M is not responsible for costs incurred by registrants (e.g., non-refundable airfare, hotel charges, etc.). Therefore, we recommend that you purchase refundable airline tickets.
Continental breakfast, refreshment breaks, and lunch are provided each day at the course location. Please notify us at nexus-answers@umich.edu about any health needs or dietary restrictions during your training.
Most participants will be comfortable in business casual. We strive to keep our facilities at a comfortable climate, but due to the varying temperatures in conference rooms and university buildings, we suggest that you wear layers regardless of the time of year.
If your program has a tour or simulation, please wear comfortable shoes for walking.
Payment
Payment must be received at least 15 business days prior to the start of the program. Credit cards are the preferred method of payment and are accepted at the time of registration. Payment by wire transfer or check is also accepted but must be received at least 15 business days prior to the start of the program. Within 15 business days of the program start, we cannot hold spaces for participants that are not paid in full. Therefore, we highly recommend that you pay first with a credit card and then seek reimbursement from your employer.

Withdrawal
Withdrawal requests received less than 15 business days prior to the start of the program will incur a 100% cancellation fee. All withdrawals must be received in writing (via email or written correspondence). Registrants who fail to attend without advance notice are liable for the entire course fee.
Cancellation Policy
Registration obligates you to pay the course registration fee. Due to the inherent costs of establishing, holding, and refilling participant slots, as well as the associated costs of course materials, Nexus has established the following cancellation policy. Please note cancellation fees are based on the number of weeks from the course start date the written request is received.
Please note that no refunds are given for online courses once course access has been given. All cancellation notices must be received in writing, either by mail or e-mail. "No shows" will be charged the full program cost.
If you transfer to another offering less than 15 days before the program, you are not eligible for any future refund. If you choose to withdraw at any point prior to the next offering, you will incur a 100% cancellation fee.

Transfers
One transfer is allowed per registration and must be received in writing more than 15 business days before the program start. If received less than 15 business days before the program, the one-time transfer will incur a $250 fee. For any additional transfers, students must re-enroll at the full tuition rate.
If you transfer to another offering less than 15 days before the program, you are not eligible for any future refund. If you choose to withdraw at any point prior to the next offering, you will incur a 100% cancellation fee.
Student Subtitutions
Substitutes for registrations can be accommodated for the same course and with an advance written notice at least 5 business days prior to the start of the course. In the event of illness, injury, or family emergency, exceptions to this policy can be made, and we ask that you please contact us.

When you register for a course, you will designate a start date. On the selected day, you will receive an email with instructions on accessing your course in our online learning management system, Canvas. If you purchased software with the course, you will also receive installation instructions on your start date.
