TACKLE ANY CHALLENGE BY HARNESSING THE POWER OF SIX SIGMA.
Earning a distinguished Six Sigma certification from the University of Michigan sets you on a path to success. Increase customer satisfaction, learn proven tools and analysis methods, and focus on process improvement. Whatever your experience level, there is a certification for you. Six Sigma belt levels correspond to different levels of expertise. Those who are new to Six Sigma will start with a Green Belt program and may continue on to a Black Belt program. The Master Black program prepares you to teach others and to become a continuous improvement leader.
A variety of delivery options are available, so you can choose the course that best suits your needs. Renowned instructors, including University of Michigan faculty, teach all courses.
Courses consist of lecture modules, analysis of case studies, access to instructors, and a project. Topics include value stream mapping, process flow improvement, DMAIC problem solving, statistical process control, and much more.
The University of Michigan (U-M) is the certifying body for our Lean Six Sigma training. The program is unaffiliated with professional organizations like ASQ and IASSC. U-M Six Sigma Certification is internationally recognized and well respected within industry.
