Modules are 6-7 hours in length, with additional reading materials. Learners may enroll in each module individually or enroll in one or both 15-week certificate courses, which include live instructor interaction.

For purposes of this course, mobility is being defined as the movement of people, goods, and services.
Each course costs $995. Individual modules are $250 each.
Yes, each course is approximately 125 self-paced hours over 15 weeks.
You have 1-week after the last date of class to finish course materials.
Registration closes one week after the start date; unpaid registrations will be cancelled once the course begins.
Participants can sign up for the courses independently of each other.Â
You may sign up for one course or both at the same time. There is no specific order to the courses.
Nothing specific, but it is expected that the student keep pace, give or take a week, with the materials as they are scheduled.
The two courses are intended to provide a broad overview of the many disciplines that are associated with mobility. So while you may have familiarity in one area, you might not be familiar with the wider range of topics and considerations. This program will help you “connect the dots,” offering the systems-level knowledge needed to implement successful mobility projects.
No, you do not need an engineering background. The course was designed assuming participant knowledge of high school mathematics. It is intentionally aimed at a broad audience with various backgrounds.
No, but a working knowledge of high school math (algebra) is assumed.
Upon successfully completing both courses, you will earn a non-credit Certificate of Achievement from the University of Michigan. This credential carries value in the employment marketplace and formally recognizes your commitment to acquiring knowledge and skills in the field of mobility. If you choose to take a single course individually, you will earn a digital badge upon successful completion.
Yes, each course module includes a knowledge assessment. To successfully complete the course, learners must complete each assessment with an overall score of 80% or above.
