Nexus’ program portfolio includes online degree programs, online graduate courses, and professional education certificates available to learners anywhere in the world. Explore our portfolio of career-defining courses and programs.
Courses - Are units of teaching for a subject with a finite length of anywhere from 2-days to 15-weeks, but no academic credit.
Modules - Are online asynchronous short-courses 4-8 hours in length with a 60 day window to complete. A digital badge is awarded upon completion of a module.
Specializations - Are specific sets of modules (e.g., four completed modules equals a specialization).
Bootcamps - 15-week intensive programs that take individuals with little to no experience and transform them into job-ready, fully qualified professionals.
Six Sigma - Learn proven tools and analysis methods, apply your knowledge to a value-added project, and earn a distinguished certification from the University of Michigan.
Lean - Accelerate your Lean progress with an implementation-focused certificate program from the foremost experts in operational excellence.
Leadership - Learn practical tools, proven coaching and communication techniques, and nuanced leadership approaches from expert faculty and practitioners.
Mobility - Learn the latest research, trends, and societal impacts of emerging mobility technology, and prepare yourself for the future of transportation.
Innovation - Learn the latest research and practical applications in design, manufacturing, engineering, and more, preparing you to lead in a rapidly changing world.
Cybersecurity - Gain the skills and hands-on experience you need to make a career change into the cybersecurity industry.
Online - Delivered 100% online in an asynchronous, self-paced format, sometimes with optional live-remote sessions.
Remote-Live - Delivered synchronously through video conferencing (e.g., Zoom).
In-Person - Delivered in a live, classroom setting in Ann Arbor or another specific location.
Blended (Mix of Modalities) - Delivered as a mixture of synchronous (in-person, remote-live) and asynchronous online sessions.
Hyflex (Multi-Modal Choice) - Learners choose one or more modes (online, remote-live, blended, in-person) based on their preferred learning styles and are in a class with others using varying modalities.
Custom - Customize a Nexus course to fit your team’s needs. This can be delivered in-person at your location or a Nexus facility, remote-live, online, or through a blend of modes (e.g., asynchronous online with remote-live check-in sessions).
Certificate of Completion - Complete non-credit course with in-class activities/learner checks (participation confirmed by instructor).
Certificate of Achievement - Complete non-credit course with assessments (e.g., multiple choice tests, or final course exam, or instructor provided case study, last day or post class).
Certification - Complete non-credit course with assessments (e.g., graded exercises) and demonstrate knowledge via application of course content to industry project/practicum.
Digital Badge - Portable learner record of progress toward a certificate or certification credential.
